First day of Kindergarten

Kyle and I can't believe how big Caleb is already--heading off to real school this year.  While today was his first day, tomorrow he'll have a full day of school, so then reality will set in.

 Big shot with 2 thumbs up.  He was very excited this morning. 

 Apparently when I was dropping him off I talked a bit too much for him.  Eventually he said, "Mom, I'll only be gone a couple of hours today."

The first 10 days...

Her are a couple of the many pictures we've taken in the last 10 days.  At 1 week old, she had increased her weight 4 ounces above her birth weight.  Proof that eating is in fact her favorite activity. 

Thankfully, Josie has gotten over her initial fear and awkwardness.  She now loves being a part of helping with Kendall. 

 

  On Friday, August 10 Kendall got to meet Abbie.  Clearly Kendall isn't realizing how important this moment is.

 8 lbs, 3 ounces.  19 inches long.  

Born at 4:00 AM Tuesday August 7,

 Caleb's never been great at hiding his emotions.

 Meeting Grandpa and Grandma V only 10 hours old. 

 Big brother and Big Sister....Caleb was excited to try holding his new sister, Josie was a bit timid, but after seeing Caleb do it, gave it a try.
