Swinging at the park

Kyle's company picnic was this past Saturday at Millennium park. We decided to try Caleb in the baby swing. He wasn't exactly enthused to be in there and having his picture taken.
Since the baby swing was huge for Caleb, we switched it up by swinging with him. Apparently he was so cozy here he fell asleep.

Sore bottoms anyone?

Kyle and I rode our bikes from Kalamazoo to South Haven--about a 34 mile trip. We discovered that this is a great way to get sore bottoms. We also discovered that Michigan State Parks' head of sign making may not be a high school graduate--check out the sign at this street crossing somewhere around mile marker 20.

Pre-bath fun time

Caleb seems happiest when he has no clothes on and he seems to be completely mesmerised by the camera. That, or he's trying to keep hidden whatever it is he is keeping under his chin.

Two Month Shots

Caleb had his two month check up and shots on July 11. It turns out he is in the 90th percentile for weight and for height.

Caleb's new toy

Although he doesn't quite understand the idea of jumping up, Caleb seems to like to kick his legs and wiggle around in his new toy.

Cottage wild life

We all had a great fourth of July and extra long weekend. I (kyle) took thursday and friday off and took the family up to the lake for the holiday. It was our first overnighter at the cottage. Caleb got to see his first campfire, firework and bald eagle! (well Caleb didn't actually see the young bald eagle but he was there to witness my excitement and scramble for the camera.
Thursday the Vanderlugts came to the lake for some pontoon boat riding, wake boarding and tubing. Apparently Rachel says I am writing too much and to just post the pictures, so here are the pictures.
