First Christmas

Christmas Eve was spent with Kyle's Family

Christmas day was spent with Rachel's family. Everyone, including Caleb, was intrigued by the chicken that 'laid an egg' when squeezed.

This is Caleb's version of nap time. We check on him when he's quieted down, only to see him pulling his bed apart.

Caleb has learned to crawl! He also got his first tooth and is starting to feed himself and drink from a cup--quite a big change in a couple of weeks!

The 'trick' this year was trying not to get too mad at the less-than-polite people that came to our door while the 'treat' was getting to dress Caleb in this silly red chili pepper costume.

3 month pictures

We brought Caleb to Indianapolis to have his 3 month pictures taken by Joel and Shontel's photographer. It would be a very long drive to make just for pictures...good thing we got to visit with Joel, Shontel and Nathan too!

Caleb's favorite thing to do lately (other than eat, which is still at the top of his to do list) is to support his own weight while standing. I think the mouth wide open means he is having the highest level of fun possible for a 3-month-old.

Cousins

Binder Park Zoo

Caleb and I went to Binder Park Zoo with my cousin, Sydney and her family. At the giraffe exhibit you are able to pet and feed the giraffe's. Hopefully next time we take Caleb to the zoo it will be a more meaningful experience for him.
