It seems that toilet water is appropriate for a monkey-baptism. Today Caleb dunked his baby monkey under, then told me he was baptizing her.

He also bit the top off of a brown crayon, then spit it out and said, "that's not a chocolate chip!"

Happy Easter--was that a week ago already? Anyhow, here's the most cooperative picture we were able to get of the kids before church. Josie hasn't yet learned to sit like a girl.

with the nicer weather, we got to head outside for a 30 minute walk (and we only traveled about 200 feet). I pushed Josie while Caleb pushed this stroller with 'baby monkey' and Josie's 'baby pig' and ran into the snow banks.

Time alone

Since Josie's afternoon nap hardly even exists lately, we get a lot of time alone. Maybe that's why she has so many more pictures lately. Here are some of the recents:

We went to Splash Universe in Shipshewana, Indiana with Kyle's Family. We had to 'encourage' Caleb to go in the water a bit. Check out Josie's cute bikini!

7 months already

Her new accomplishment is to pull herself to stand and even take some steps along furniture. It seems this is all she wants to do now--in the bath, in her crib, even in the high chair she is trying to stand up.Is this one of the signals that she's tired? The side-effect of a long day of standing.
